Current Resident
Jared Rudolph, an Ethiopian-South Africa street artist turned fine artist, is Art + Industry's first artist in resident.
From June 2025 until October 2025, he has been exploring his mediums of acrylic paint, spray paint and performance art in our studio space as he builds up to his first solo exhibition
His practice uses semiotics, particularly binary code and leaves, to explore the limits of freedom granted to the humxn condition amidst a conformist based society wherein he feels the direction of your life seems to have already been written for you, without your say.
Through weekly crits with our inhouse curator, he has set an intention for stylistic development and painterly research, drawing on inspiration from South African masters.

Our Artist Residency offers a 4–6 week intensive, staged multiple times a year,
for a different emerging contemporary artist each cycle.
Selection is highly competitive, guided by rigorous industry criteria - research depth, cultural resonance, and stylistic potential.
